Ad Hoc Consulting advises companies, regulators, and public institutions in critical decision-making processes in regulated sectors and complex markets. Since its inception in 2021, the firm—led by Dr. Martín Rodríguez Pardina—has specialized in economic, financial, and regulatory analysis, building a strong international track record in energy, transport, water, and telecommunications.
From 2023 onward, Ad Hoc began developing advanced data science and artificial intelligence capabilities to complement its historical expertise in applied economics and regulation. This process was consolidated in 2025 with the incorporation of Dr. Débora Chan and Dr. Andrés Farall as partners. Their expertise in data science strengthened the use of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and risk assessment in our projects. Ad Hoc also has extensive local and international experience in competition policy services, led by Dr. Diego Petrecolla.
Today, the firm combines economic intelligence, advanced data science, and competitive analysis to offer a truly integrated approach, focused on assessing economic and competitive impacts, designing implementable solutions, and supporting strategic decisions with measurable results.
